There is a lot of upfront work that goes into creating a predictive maintenance plan, but the benefits of implementing this plan far outweigh the time spent. Several benefits of executing a predictive maintenance plan instead of its opposite – reactive maintenance/repair – include:
- Your plant is under control of the maintenance program and schedule. No more costly and sudden interruptions that halt plant operations.
- Your plant will save money in the long run, due to lack of machine downtime and increased machine health. Productivity is maintained, and employees are happier.
- Your service team – combined with our knowledge – manages the maintenance process when the machine communicates an issue or potential problem.
These are only three of many benefits of a predictive maintenance plan. When you hire Hays Service to be your maintenance partner to optimize your machines’ health and put money BACK in your pocket, you can expect us to exercise careful attention to detail, 24/7 service, and a work ethic that is founded on honesty and integrity. We will approach your customized predictive maintenance plan like this:
Hays Service will take inventory of your machines and their makeup.
We want to know everything there is to know about your machines and equipment. We will map out your facility and make a list of the equipment you have and all pertinent information regarding these machines.
Hays Service will test your equipment.
After having a thorough understanding of what type of equipment and any special needs, we will test your equipment through services such as thermal imaging and vibration analysis. Machines talk all the time, and it’s our job to hear what they’re saying. Machines communicate by producing irregularities in heat, which we can see via thermal imaging, and through irregularities in vibration, which we can locate via vibration analysis. We have the specialized testing equipment required to perform these task.
Hays Service will relay the findings and discuss service options.
If your equipment is running like a well-oiled machine, great! We’re happy to write up a clean bill of health and schedule the next predictive maintenance check-in. But, if one of your machines is communicating that something is wrong, we will talk to you about what options you have. Our ultimate goal is to eliminate your plant’s downtime by catching and fixing issues before they turn into major problems.
