I say this every year, but it is worth repeating. You cannot afford to neglect your HVAC and mechanical equipment during the next six months – the time of the most intense cooling needs.
Yes, I said “six months.” We live in a very hot and humid area of the South, and six months of cooling is normal for us. And six months is just the baseline: our customers in larger buildings run cooling all year long. In some cases, even our customers in smaller facilities seldom if ever need much heating, due to the people and equipment working inside – but everyone requires cooling.
I stress the importance of being proactive because, without a very well-maintained HVAC system, you will experience system failures, employee discomfort, and unhappy, less-productive workers in your buildings. Without maintenance, premature failure is a given – and it is expensive to replace these complex systems.
Don’t take my word for it. The bible of HVAC engineering, ASHRAE, outlines with empirical data how different systems in different parts of country are affected by lack of maintenance or improper system design.
I hope you will call us and let us look at your building systems. For this for initial review, we only ask you give us the time to guide us on your needs and concerns, so we can put together recommendations. Other than that, there’s no other cost – and we promise your will learn something new and actionable, if we cannot agree on a plan.
Let’s have a great summer!
