There’s nothing like blooming cherry and pear trees to make us feel alive again! Why is that and why can’t we feel like that all the time?
It’s partly because the start of a new season makes us want to embrace change and move forward with a new spirit. The coming of spring is special, because life has been tougher during the winter months. We’re staying inside more often, so we can get a little light-deprived and feel some depression settling in.
So enough of that! Spring is coming and let’s think about our environment inside our building or workplace. Is it comfortable? Is the air clean? Do you have the proper filtration for spring pollen season? For the toxins generated by cleaning chemicals or other compounds?
How about your HVAC? Is it ready for spring and summer? Nobody wants to start the cooling season with dirty condenser coils or air-handling units in poor condition, so it’s time for that routine maintenance to be tackled.
Now’s also the time to check and take into account the quality of the outside air that provides fresh oxygen for your team. Thermostats and sensors need to be calibrated for proper operation—electrical costs are skyrocketing right now, and wasting energy is not acceptable for building owners.
So, start this spring fresh, and make sure you’re mindful of your environment. Don’t let your employees or tenants suffer through the spring from a poorly-maintained HVAC system. Don’t waste money by letting your systems continue to run inefficiently.
